Winter Sunset in the Pacific Northwest

Posted by
Denny Jump (Bellevue, WA, United States) on 5 March 2020 in Plant & Nature.

Here in the western part pf Washington State, winter temperatures are not terribly cold by eastern standards, but the cold, damp winds seem to carry a feeling of chill that is quite convincing!

I made this image a few months ago - in December, 2019.
It is definitely a winter image and I was so amazed at how the colors were so varied!

I hope you like this one ;-

** Staples Singers - "Respect Yourself"

- " We do not move forward from a middle opinion, which is undemocratic but mediocratic.
We advance from a creative passion "- (Edgar Morin)

- "To photograph is to hold one's breath, when all faculties converge to capture fleeting reality. It's at
that precise moment that mastering an image becomes a great physical and intellectual joy."
- Henri Cartier-Bresson.

- My beliefs, and values, have always been strongly tied-to music, especially Jazz, and Blues.
- The following artists and lyrics seem to "sum-up" where my spirit resides:

"HOLD ON TO YOUR SPIRIT,
ALWAYS FEEL YOUR SOUL....
HONOR THE MAGIC IN YOUR HEART"
